Sugar On The Floor - canvas print

Sugar On The Floor  The first time I heard the song, "Sugar on the Floor," sung by Etta James, it was a cold, rainy day.  The beautiful song brought tears to my eyes.  For weeks I could not get the song out of my mind.  Gradually a painting began to occur to me.  The painting Sugar on the Floor is the inspiration of the Etta James' version of this song.  (This song has also been covered by Elton John.)

All I need,
all I need is somebody to love
All I need,
all I need is somebody to care about me
So I won’t be wasted
Oh, wasted on the floor
Oh I, oh I
I feel like I’m sugar on the floor
