If you are a country kid, you likely remember a mean rooster. They are beautiful bullies. If you've ever been spurred, you'll never forget it...

10 Lords A-Leaping has truly been one of the most FUN projects in my "Twelve Days of Christmas" painting project so far! I contemplate many mediums for artistic inspiration. I came across a Pinterest page featuring the Royal Ballet of London's performance of the "Tale of Jeremy Fisher." The images of the coloured botanical backgrounds, water plants, trout, water beetle and, of course, a frog named Jeremy are absolutely enchanting.

"Church Cat" is very atmospheric and shadowy. The viewer may not see the cat instantly; instead, the cat slowly ...

I am a very spontaneous and splashy artist, and the Arteza pens react immediately, almost like confetti! What I mean by this is, “whatever happens, happens” and I am satisfied with the result. I assume the universe is giving me divine direction. This exercise is extremely gratifying (and necessary) for a watercolor artist.

I have a couple of paperwhite bulbs blooming profusely on my kitchen bar. The scent is cloying, heavy and blanketing, like a powdery white snow. To me, it is a sweet reminder that spring is just around the corner.
